Ancestral Tablets at Nirvana Memorial Garden

All ancestral tablets are placed within the elegant and serene sanctuaries of Nirvana Memorial Garden, designed to provide a peaceful and dignified space for remembrance. Each suite is fully air-conditioned for a comfortable visiting experience, while Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are present to offer blessings for departed loved ones. Surrounded by the continuous chanting of Buddhist scriptures, families can honour their ancestors in a calm and spiritually uplifting environment.

Ancestral Tablet Customisation

The number of names and photos on each ancestral tablet depends on the selected design option:

• Option 1: Up to 6 names + 2 photos or 4 names + 4 photos
• Option 2: Ipto 2 names + 2 photos or 4 names only

Engraving Services

• Initial engraving is complimentary
• Additional engraving changes after the first setup will incur charges
• Fees also apply for adding or updating photos

Ancestral Tablet Installation Ceremony

Upon purchasing an ancestral tablet at Nirvana Memorial Garden, we will assist in arranging the full installation ceremony with care and respect. The engraving process typically takes 30 to 49 days to complete.

For recently departed loved ones resting in the prayer room at Nirvana Singapore, a master monk will perform chanting on the 49th day, first in the prayer room and then at the ancestral tablet, to respectfully invite the ancestor's spirit to their new resting place.

For families relocating an ancestral tablet from a home or another temple, we will recommend several auspicious dates for selection. On the chosen day, the master monk will conduct prayers at the original location before the tablet is respectfully moved to Nirvana Memorial Garden, followed by a final blessing ceremony to ensure a peaceful transition and lasting peace for the ancestors.
